ShowSheen Shines in Tried and Tested

Absorbine ShowSheen range features in Equestrian Life magazine tried and tested.

The Absorbine ShowSheen grooming range was tried and tested by Equestrian Life magazines editor, Louise Graham and received a glowing report in the April issue.

Louise sampled the ShowSheen 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, which is now available in a salon style bottle, and said that "the non-spill cap on the new bottle was very useful as I have spilt lots of shampoo in the yard before now!". Following a bath with the 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner, ShowSheen Original and ShowSheen finishing mist are the perfect way to leave your horse's coat looking sleek and shiny ready for the show ring and a fuller stronger looking tail can be the result of the ShowSheen Detangler Gel which removes even the toughest knots.

The Absorbine product range

Being the owner of a grey horse who lives in the field Louise was pleased with the results of the ShowSheen stain remover and whitener as it finally removed all those stains and she is now a regular user.

After her horse's make over with the ShowSheen products Louise said "I can thoroughly recommend Absorbine products, you need three hands to get a horse ready for a show, so everything that helps to make life a little easier is great".

Sponsored Jo Bates tries out the NEW Hooflex Frog and Sole Care

The  NEW Hooflex Frog and Sole Care has now been lauched in the UK, whilst the rest of the Hooflex range of hoof care products have received a makeover with bright new labels on the products to coordinate the whole range.
Hooflex Frog & Sole Care

Launched at BETA 2012, Hooflex® Frog & Sole Care is already proving to be successful.  Designed to soothe the hoof and eliminate odours caused by bacteria and fungi, the liquid formula penetrates the frog and sole tissue and will not sting, stain, or dry the hoof.

Jo competing Fair and Square

Absorbine sponsored rider Jo Bates has been using the new product on her string of show horses; “we have been using the new Hooflex Frog and Sole Care and it is proving very useful for horses prone to thrush.  It is easy to apply and penetrates deep into the frog to help eliminate odours.  The Hooflex Original Liquid Conditioner is a firm favourite in our yard - it helps to maintain the moisture in the hooves and really conditions the feet.  Our farrier is also very impressed with the results.”

Hooflex Frog and Sole Care is easily applied with the special squeeze applicator which is specially-designed to reach deep into the frog.

Review of Tried and Tested Absorbine Products

We got one of our customers to test out our Absorbine 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner, ShowSheen Stain Remover and Showsheen Detangler. Here is what she had to say:

I used the Absorbine products on my two event horses, they live in the field all the time and I have to fit in looking after them around work. I’ve been struggling to find products that will improve the cleanliness of my horses straight away as I don’t always have time to regularly wash them, that was until I found Absorbine!

ShowSheen Hair
Polish & Detangler

When I used the Absorbine 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner on my horse’s tail I noticed the effect immediately as it removed all the dirt easily and left the tail feeling healthier and with an added shine. My horse has a very thick tail and I am often battling with knots, when I applied the ShowSheen Hair Polish and Detangler after washing I found the knots easier to remove and the tail could be brushed right through, making it look a lot fuller. I found that the shine stayed for a several days even after turning my horse out in the field.

On my grey horse I used the ShowSheen Stain Remover & Whitener to try to get rid of the yellow colour her tail, which always seems to be there. This worked really well and proved to have an immediate effect unlike other products I have used in the past. I have washed the tail again since and it has improved even more. It was simple to apply and rinsed out easily, I prefer to use a product like this that doesn’t contain any bleach and doesn’t dry out the tail out.

All of the products came with very clear instructions and had a lovely fragrance about them. The bottles are all good sizes and only small amounts of the products are needed at a time so they will last me a long time. I will definitely be using the Absorbine products on my horses in the future!

Absorbine Sponsored Riders Success at Windsor

Absorbine sponsored rider Jo Bates has continued her success this season with a win in the Novice Riding Horse at Royal Windsor Horse Show. Banbury based Jo was riding Alan Lintott's Thriller, this win has been largely due to the help of dressage supremo Charlotte Dujardin who has been training Jo and Thriller throughout the winter months. A trip to the Three Shires Area 5 spring show where the pair stood Champions in the Riding Horse earlier in May proved to be a great warm up for Windsor.
